Oh, yeah. When I got my SLR, I wanted to test all of it's features. It took forever to figure out the times to get this just right. ^^;

You did well! How did you avoid blur from opening and closing the gameboy ? Just really quick, or did you somehow have the screen turn on only in the most upright position?

I started with the gameboy on and it open with all of the lights turned out. I forget how long, but I turned the lights on, and then closed the screen. With the lights off, the camera only picked up the LCD and the glow it cast on the start and select buttons. When the lights got turned on, it revealed everything else and gave me a couple of seconds to close the screen. I don't remember the times, but I've been wanting to try it again with the brightness turned down and see if that would be enough for the buttons to disappear.

I try to avoid the generic games as much as possible. If I ever wanted them, I could find them on ebay for pretty cheap anyway..

And thanks for the fav! :D

how?

Well, I turned off all of the lights in my room, and had the SP on and open. I set my camera's shutter on bulb so I could have it stay open for a while, (about 30 seconds) and I basically "burned" the SP's screen into the pic. About halfway through, I closed the SP and turned the lights on, so that everything in the background would show. The frustrating part is figuring out how long the Sp should stay open, and how long the lights needed to be on. ^^;

Yeah... ^^; It's pretty fun messing with the exposures. I'm working on a shot where the subject is "transparent" and kinda ghost like.(I want to try and get it up before Halloween.)

Sorry, I wasn't sure. (Some people really didn't get it.)

My room was completely dark, and the SP was on. I had my cameras shudder stay open for a long time, (Like 30 seconds) and basically "burned" the LCD display into the picture. About halfway through, I closed the SP and turned on the lights, so that everything in the background would show. (It took a couple of tries, some were too dark, some were too light, etc.)
